Leonard James DeCormier, age 77 of Harriman, Tennessee formerly of Westland, Michigan passed away Wednesday, June 25, 2025, at his home. He was a member of St. Mary's Parish in Wayne, Michigan and of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Harriman, Tennessee. Jim served in the United States Marine Corps from July 1966 until July 1970 as a A/C Structural Mechanic and Aircraft and Engine Mechanic, receiving a National Defense Service Medal and a Good Conduct Medal. Jim worked for Michigan Bell and AT&T phone company as a repair lineman. He got involved in computers when they first came out and became quite knowledgeable in fixing them when they didn't work. He loved being outdoors so when he retired in 2009, he started a vegetable garden so we called him "Farmer Jim".
