A handsome baby boy was born on March 22, 1966 to Ardie & Leonard Jackson, Sr. in Muskogee, Oklahoma. They named him Leonard Jackson, Jr. affectionately known as "Jack." He was the second born of four children.

Jack attended school and graduated from Moton High School in Taft, Oklahoma with the Class of 1984. Jack attended Langston University with a music scholarship. After college, Jack went to work at Eddie Warrior Correctional Center.

Although widely known for being a DJ, Jack was a natural musician. He furthered his love of music playing the bass guitar and keyboards in various bands, including his high school band, Flick and post Langston bands Chocolate City Family and the M.U.G. (Muskogee Underground).

Jack loved his family and enjoyed spending time with them. He loved taking his children, nieces and nephews bowling, skating, and much more. He also loved his community, his church, (Flipper Chapel A.M.E.), the Dallas Cowboys and playing Dominoes.

On Monday, September 15, 2025, the Lord called Jack home. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Iletha Johnson, Sue Malone and Morris Malone, his father, Leonard Jackson, Sr. and his son, Leonard Jackson III.

He leaves to cherish his memory his mother, Ardie Jackson of the home; sister, Lynetta Jackson; brothers, Eugene (Shirley) and Ricky Jackson his children, Jerrell, Danecia "Neicy", Latera "LaLa" Kiara, D'Leonard "Kiyree", Cierra, Jeron, Jailynn, Jayvian, Tiara, Jaylin, Kwaylin, Jayvius, Cameron, and God-Daughter, Shyanne Brown, twenty grandchildren, four nieces, six nephews, special cousins, Kelvin Ray Brown and Darrell Pope, a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

A Home Going Service is scheduled Saturday, September 27, 2025, 11:00 a.m., Boulevard Christian Church, 1700 W. Shawnee, Muskogee, OK. Interment will follow in Doyle Cemetery, Taft OK

Visitation will be Friday, September 26, 2025, 1:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m.

The family has been cared for by House of Winn-Muskogee
