Leroy Slusher, 89, of Minford, Ohio went home to be with his Lord on Sunday, July 27, 2025 at SOMC Hospice. He was born in Salyersville, Kentucky on March 20, 1936 to the late Burie and Louise Slusher and attended Old Philadelphia Tabernacle Church in Minford. Leroy was a Carpenter, and worked for Dial Construction for many years.

He is survived by his children, Marvin (Robin) Slusher, Marty (Teresa) Slusher, Physcilla Slusher, all of Minford; bonus son, Brent (Patty) Davis of Columbus; 18 grandchildren; 35 great grandchildren; 5 great great grandchildren, and two sisters, Donna (Roger Colvin) Cantrell and Wanda (Dave) Barker.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 67 years, Elsie (Patrick) Slusher on November 11, 2023 whom he married August 28, 1956; two sons, Michael "Todd" Slusher, Nelson Slusher; two granddaughters, Laura Slusher, whom he raised, Misty Slusher; two great grandchildren, Robert Littlefied II, Bristen Steele; six brothers and sisters, Charlie Slusher, June Trent, Alline Combs, Troy Slusher, Henry Slusher and Froy Slusher.

Funeral services will be conducted at Noon Thursday, July 31, 2025 at Old Philadelphia Church with Maurice Pierce and Terry McBee officiating. Burial will be at Salisbury Cemetery in Minford. Friends may call at Old Philadelphia Church on Slusher Road after 5:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 30, 2025 until the funeral hour on Thursday. Arrangements are under the direction of Erwin-Dodson-Allen Funeral Home in Minford. Online condolences may be sent to www.edafh.com.
