Leslie Allen Cox, born on March 23, 1943, in Great Falls, MT, was known for his ambitious nature and dedicated spirit. He was a beacon of love and support to his family, friends, and his local Christian congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses. Leslie was a man who cherished his faith and spent his life teaching others about his loving God, Jehovah, and the hope for the future promised in the Bible.
Leslie was a devoted husband to his beloved wife, Barbara, whom he married on August 1, 1970. As a father, he loved his children, Gregory (Michelle) Cox, Heidi (Scott) Weedon, Roxane (John) Wallis, Patti-Jo (Aly) Ortiz, and Daniel (Mikilia) Cox. His nine grandchildren - Michael Krivitza, Caleb Wallis, Aneesa Cox, Cambria Cox, Hunter Wallis, Lily Wallis, Natalie Weedon, Chance Weedon & Maria Ortiz. His siblings, Joe Cox and Esther Sorenson, knew him as a loving brother who was always there for them. Leslie was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph and Betty Cox.
Professionally, Leslie was a dedicated meat cutter at Buttrey's, from where he retired in 1978. He was a man who tolerated his work but loved his hobbies. He found joy in the ministry, watching football, fishing, hunting, and camping. He also loved playing cards and spending time with his family and friends. Leslie was known to lead a life full of love and support for those he cared for, one that was centered on his faith and family.
Jehovah's Witnesses believe in the promise found at Revelation 21:4, "And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away." It is this hope that Leslie shared with others and lived by.
We invite you to leave your memories and upload photos of Leslie to the memorial page. Your shared experiences will help us all remember the Leslie we knew, loved, and admired. May his life continue to inspire us all.
