Levin B. Tucker, age 85, of Bridgeville, DE, passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, May 22, 2025.
Born on October 1, 1939, in Greenwood, DE, he was the son of the late Avery and Lottie (Joseph) Tucker. Levin was a lifelong Delawarean, deeply rooted in his community and devoted to his family. His schooling concluded after the eighth grade, but his life was a testament to the power of hard work and perseverance.
Levin worked as a millworker with Perdue Farms for many years before retiring. He was known for his strong work ethic, quiet strength, and the pride he took in a job well done. He valued the simple things in life-family gatherings, honest work, and time spent with loved ones.
He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Levin is survived by his loving wife, Carol J. Tucker of Bridgeville, DE; his children: Raymond Tucker (Amy) of Seaford, DE, April Nowlan (Paul) of Bridgeville, DE, and Bart Tucker (Stephanie) of Greenwood, DE; his grandchildren: Inga Lambert (Chris) of Greenwood, DE, Brooke Lauer (Jason) of Laurel, DE, Devin Tucker of Virginia, Zachery Tucker of Seaford, DE, Shane Robinson of Bridgeville, DE, Michael Robinson of Washington State, Troy Robinson of Seaford, DE, Samantha Free (Alex) of Washington State, and Amiah Tucker of Bridgeville, DE. He is also survived by his sister, Lucinda Huey (Rick) of Bridgeville, DE; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and great-grandchildren.
Levin was predeceased by his sons, Joseph and Carl Tucker, and his brothers, Avery and Thomas Tucker.
