Worcester – Li Yu (Wang) Chen, 74, died peacefully at home on Wednesday,
January 8, 2025. She was born in Taipei, Taiwan, the beloved daughter of the late Wan-Yuan and Ho A-Ho (Her) Wang.
Li Yu completed her bachelor's in foreign languages at Taiwan Jingyi College of Arts and Sciences, and emigrated to the United States, settling in Worcester where she cultivated her love of nature with gardening. She was a gifted artist and was a devoted member of the Supreme Master Ching Hai Meditation Association. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
Li Yu is survived by her siblings, Boryng Wang of Taiwan, Sharon Li-Chun Wang of Taiwan and Li-Chang Shepherd and her husband, Edward of Randolph. Relatives and friends are invited to attend calling hours from 1 to 2:30 p.m. on Sunday, January 19, 2025, at Kelly Cremation and Funeral Care, 154 Lincoln Street, Worcester. Please omit flowers.
