Lillian P.(Hallock) Doney formely of Black River, NY passed away on June 27, 2025 in Georgetown Texas.
Born January 23, 1939 to the late Glenn Hallock and Emily (Petersen) Hallock of Mc Brides Michigan, she was one of 5 children. Lillian moved from Michigan to Florida in her junior year of High School to attend Cedar Lake Academy, graduating in 1957. She attended Andrews University. While attending academy she met Donald F. Doney who at that time was serving in the US Navy. The couple were united in marriage on March 27, 1960. Don passed away in October of 2002.
Lillian is survived by her 3 children Sandra(Doney) Kent, Georgetown Texas, James(Cindy) Doney, Marshall, North Carolina, and William (Jeannie) Doney, Orange City, Florida, as well as 9 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Her siblings Dorothy (Dan) Walters, Colorado, June Davis Michigan, and Juna Flodine of Australia. As well as several nieces and nephews.
She was pre-deceased by a brother Arthur Hallock, and a son in-law Michael Kent. Lillian was a devote member of her church. She loved her family and will be missed by each of them. She is now at peace and resting in Jesus.
In lieu of flowers you may make a donation to Cerebral Palsy association, or Spina bifida research.
A memorial service and celebration of life will be held at the Seventh-day Adventist Church of Natural Bridge, NY on August 24th:
