Lily D. Buck ObituaryLily Diane Buck gained her angel wings on June 19, 2025.
Although this was never the outcome we had planned or prayed for, we are at peace knowing that all Lily will know in her life is love.
The meaning behind Lily's name:
Lily - pure, beauty and innocent.
"God blesses those whose hearts are pure, for they will see God"- Matthew 5:8
Diane - divine, heavenly.
Despite the heartbreak and many tears, we know Lily's life had meaning and a purpose.
"Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart" -Jeremiah 1:5
Left to honor Lily's memory on earth are her parents, Riley and Alison Buck; siblings, Brigham and Evelynn Buck; grandparents, Bret and MarJoan Buck, Randal and Lynn Reese; great-grandparents, Ronald Ritter and Rozann Buck.
Receiving her with open arms in Heaven are her great-grandparents, Diane Ritter, Herb and Myra Reese, Larry Buck and Arnold and Donna Anderson.
A memorial visitation will be held from 2:00 - 4:00pm on Sunday, June 29, 2025 at the New Hope Lutheran Church in Hayti, SD
