Linda Fayard Abadie passed away peacefully on July 4, 2025 at the age of 80. Beloved wife of the late Carl Davis “Black” Abadie Sr. mother of Carl Davis Abadie Jr. (Roxanne), the late Todd A. Abadie, Darlene A. Boudreaux (Arthur), Holly Gonzalez (Brian), and Brandi A. Gautreaux (Charles Jr.). Grandmother of the late Brandon Matherne (January), Cory Boudreaux (Jennie), Corey Abadie, Jerad Moffitt (Kayla), Kayla Landry (Ryan), Fabian Woods, Baylie Blanchard, Noah Abadie, Ashton Russell, and Addyson Gonzalez. Sister of Carolyn Elledge (James), the late Earline Fayard, the late David Fayard, the late Rene Fayard, the late Gloria Breaux, and the late Barbara Fayard. Daughter of the late Dave James Fayard and the late Evelyn Marie Perez. Also survived by many great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation will be at Mothe Funeral Home, 7040 Lapalco Boulevard, Marrero, LA on Wednesday, July 9, 2025 from 9 AM to 11 AM. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Visitation of our Lady Catholic Church, 3500 Ames Boulevard (at Barataria Blvd), Marrero, LA. Interment Restlawn Park Cemetery in Avondale, LA.
