Linda Mae Clark, 67, of Waverly, VA, went to be with the Lord on June 26, 2025. She was the daughter of the late Lois and Aaron Clark.
Linda is survived by her son, Christopher Pond and his wife Brandy; her daughter, Melissa Pond and her husband Eddie; her sister, Brenda Pope and her husband Dale; her brother, Raymond Clark and his fiancée Lisa; and her beloved grandchildren, Ian Pond, Christopher Priest, and Ethan Pond. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family who will cherish her memory.
If you knew Linda, you know how strong she was. She never quit or gave up. She was determined to succeed on her own, even purchasing her own home. In addition to loving her grandchildren, Linda loved the beach and planting flowers. Serving her customers was very special to her, because it enabled her to always make new friends.
A memorial service to celebrate Linda's life will be held on Tuesday, July 8, 2025, at 6:00 PM at R.W. Baker & Co. Funeral Home and Crematory, Wakefield Chapel, 11414 General Mahone Hwy, Wakefield, VA 23888. The family will receive friends following the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Waverly Rescue Squad, P.O. Box 583, Waverly, VA 23890. Condolences may be registered at RWBakerFH.com.
