Linda S. Ewing

Our beloved mother, Linda S. Ewing, of Elyria, Ohio, passed away peacefully Saturday, June 21, 2025, at the age of 70.

Born and raised in Elyria, Linda was a proud graduate of the Elyria High School Class of 1973. She continued her education at Lorain County Community College, where she completed two years of study. Linda was united in marriage to Glen Ewing Sr., and together they raised three children: Glen Ewing Jr., William Ewing, and Gwendolyn Ewing Southern. She worked diligently for many years at BASF, until going on long-term disability. Later in life, Linda found joy, friendship, and purpose as a successful independent consultant with Paparazzi Accessories, proudly achieving the title of Director.

She was preceded in death by her loving parents, Lillie B. Cook (née Duvall) and Jack Cook; as well as her siblings, Gertrude O. Morrissey, William E. Terry, Henry A. Terry, Eileen E. Mahoney, Richard A. Terry, and Phyllis Grant.

Linda leaves to cherish her memory her devoted siblings, Daud M. Abdur Rasheed (Kaia) of Cleveland, Patrick E. Terry (Wyonna) of Alaska, and Betty J. Bohannon of McDonough, Georgia. She is also survived by her children, Glen Ewing Jr., William A. Ewing, and Gwendolyn Southern; along with her beloved grandchildren, Glen Ewing III, William Ewing, Marie Smith, Mylen Ewing, Zyonnah Ewing, Dakari Ewing, Lametra Whitfield, Anahjay Ewing, Desaray Ewing, Danah N. Ewing, Angelo J. Southern II, and Daniel R. Southern.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, July 2, 2025, at 11 a.m., with viewing at 10 a.m., at Jones Chapel African Methodist Episcopal Church 343 17th Street, Elyria, Ohio.

Linda's legacy of love, strength, and perseverance will live on in all who knew and loved her.
