Linda Gomez Obituary

Linda Lou Gomez, 78, died Friday, March 7, 2025.
She was born October 24, 1946, daughter of Barkley and Nolene Clements Dermody. Linda worked in management at several McDonald's Restaurants, but her labor of love was raising her children and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Bob; stepson, Todd Gomez; granddaughter, Alexandra; and siblings, Margaret Gadjen and VJ, CD, Ricky, Donnie, Mikey and Tommy Dermody.
Survivors include her children, Teri Wafford (Lex), Billy Gomez (Rhonda), Tammy Hilbert (Matthew), Kim Vance (Scott), and Chris Gomez (Rashana); step children, Gary Gomez, Belinda Bermea (Joe), Joe Gomez (Lisa), Sandy Clark, and Mark Gomez (Shawna Bischoff); grandchildren, Briana, Rachel, Shelby, Jonathon, Conner, Landon, Payton, Jossie, Kaitlain, Jackson, Krista, Dakota, Caden, Briella, Hudson, Darrin, Domynick, Phelicia, Nico, Christen, Tyler, Drew, Scotty, Joe, Matthew, Chase, and Megan; great grandchildren, Carter, Elijiah, Devin, Tilly, Cooper, and Cade; and siblings, Alvin Dermody (Linda), Rita Orangias and Ronnie Dermody.
Friends and family are invited to a celebration of Linda's life from 3-7pm on Tuesday, March 11, 2025 at the Hillview Government Center, 283 Crestwood Lane, Louisville, KY 40229.
