Linda was born on October 16, 1947, in Perryton, Texas to Lewis Willis and Irene Lois Switzer Rogers. She married Robert "Bob" Hink on September 6, 1962, in Booker, Texas. A lifelong resident of Wheeler, Linda was the devoted wife of a farmer and rancher and worked various jobs around town to help support her family, including serving as a dispatcher/jailer and working with the Farm Service Agency. She enjoyed traveling, playing cards, and spending time with friends. She was also a member of several local sorority clubs. Linda was deeply devoted to her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren and was a member of Cornerstone Church in Wheeler. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lewis and Irene Rogers; her husband, Bob Hink; and two daughters, Janice Hink Kemp and Janette Hink Umsted. Survivors include her son, Jason Hink and wife Jennifer of Wheeler; her brother, Frank Rogers and wife Kathy of Round Rock; four grandchildren, Brennan Umsted and wife Megan of Canyon, Landry Umsted of Kelton, Kade Kemp of Wheeler, and Jocelyn Ryder and husband Camden of Pampa; one great-grandson, Kason Umsted; and one great-granddaughter on the way; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations be made to any volunteer fire department in Wheeler County.
