Linda is a beautiful person and will be truly missed. She has a beautiful smile that would light up her face and warm your heart. She taught me so much when we worked together in the literacy program at MES, and every time we talked since then. She was a life-long learner in every aspect of her life from education to travel, and always eager to share her knowledge. She was always encouraging and motivating people, adults and kids, and so dedicated to teaching . She inspired me to begin volunteer tutoring at the school near me. She is an inspiration to all of us.

Linda was a very special friend to me. We shared over 50 years of friendship. We had many lunches together. I will always cherish out time together. I loved her very much. I will look forward to seeing her again in heaven.

Linda was a cherished employee and friend at Morristown Elementary School. What amazed me the most about Linda was her steadfast compassion for teaching all children to read and gain literacy skills. Colleagues would witness emails from Linda that were often sent during the weekends, where she would continue to think deeply how best to serve students. Linda was always willing to have a conversation about any way a child could be supported.
I had the pleasure of enjoying some vacation time with Linda on two cruises to the Bahama region. During those trips, she was jovial, entertaining, and most of all grateful for the experience.
Linda was a class act. She was always professional and caring. Linda often shared her love for the opera and music that she so enjoyed. Linda loved her family immensely and was so proud of their accomplishments and adventures!

So very sorry for your loss! I worked with Linda at MES. When I started I knew nothing about teaching reading or about teaching in general. Linda was so patient, kind, helpful, and never made me feel like I had no idea what I was doing even though I didn´t. She taught me how to teach literacy and how to manage behavior. She was amazing with the students and they really respected her. She was also a wonderful friend, inviting us to her house for get togethers. I always think of her as one of the sweetest persons I knew.
My thoughts and prayers are with you,
Amanda Keith
