Linda Marie Jaeger, 64, of Morehead City, North Carolina, passed away peacefully on August 4, 2025, at the Crystal Coast Hospice House in Newport, North Carolina.
A Mass will be held in Linda's honor at 11 a.m., on Friday, August 15, 2025, at St. Egbert Catholic Church in Morehead City, North Carolina. Internment and a Celebration of Life will occur at a later date at the Gate of Heaven Cemetery in East Hanover, New Jersey.
Born in Newark, New Jersey, on August 31, 1960, to Veronica and Karl Jaeger, Linda's life began in her home state. After graduating from West Orange High School, she embarked on a remarkable career at UPS. For over three decades, Linda was a dedicated and essential part of the company, earning multiple safe driver awards and forging lasting friendships with colleagues and customers. She always spoke fondly of these memories.
In 2022, Linda retired to Morehead City, North Carolina to be closer to her sister, a move she deeply cherished. Known for her caring heart and generous spirit, she quickly became a friend to many in her new community. She found joy in spending time at the beach with her beloved dogs, LuLu and Mr. Mel, and together they enjoyed hiking in the mountains of Western North Carolina.
Linda's love for life, family and friends will be remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her. She will be deeply missed.
Linda is survived by her sister, Marilyn; her three brothers, Karl, Kenny and Kirk; ten nieces and nephews; eleven great-nieces and great-nephews; one great-great-nephew; and her beloved dog, Mr. Mel.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her cherished dog, LuLu.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to the SECU Crystal Coast Hospice House, P.O. Box 640, Newport, NC 28570.
