Linda Diane Johnson, 84, went to be with our Lord Friday, July 18, 2025. She passed away peacefully at her home in Boyd Texas.
Visitation: 6 to 8 P.M. Thursday, July 24, 2025 at White's Azle Chapel in Azle.
Funeral Service: 11:00 a.m. Friday, July 25, 2025 at Friendship Baptist Church, 1477 Co Rd 4698, Boyd, Tx 76023.
Interment: Boyd Cemetery following the service.
Linda was born on September 24, 1940 to Donald and Camille Hall (DeVaux) in Fort Worth, Texas. She graduated from Northside High School in 1958. Linda was united in marriage July 22, 1957 to Henry Harold Johnson Sr in Love County, Oklahoma. They then had a son, Harold Johnson Jr, December 7, 1959.
Harold and Linda worked together for over 50 years. Starting in 1963 working at D & D Fabrication. She was the Office Secretary there for 25 years until they opened their own steel fabrication company called “Metroplex Fabrication” in Azle. There she was the Office Manager and Office Secretary until she retired. They spent their years together being with family and friends. They enjoyed going on vacations together and built numerous homes in different places over the years. There was only one place she would ever call home though and that was the home in Boyd. Linda loved her view off her front porch and would spend hours watching the birds and cows out in the pasture.
Linda Johnson was a devoted Christian wife, mother and grandmother. She was known for her sweet personality and heart of gold. Linda loved helping people and would go above and beyond for anyone.
She was preceded in death by her father, Donald Hall; mother, Camille Hall; brother, Donny Hal; sister, Melissa Tinney.
Those left behind to cherish her memory are her husband, Harold Johnson Sr of Boyd; her son, Harold Johnson Jr of Boyd; grandchildren, Ashley Thompson of Boyd and Brandon Johnson of Boyd; great-grandchildren, Leddie Thompson of Boyd, Linda Shay Thompson of Boyd, Leggin Thompson of Boyd, Lacie Thompson of Boyd, Kash Johnson of Santo and Austyn Johnson of Aledo; sister, Priscilla Johnson of Denton; and brother, Nick Hall of Corsicana; extended family and a host of friends.
