Geib Funeral Center & CrematoryLinda Kinsey, 77, of Sherrodsville, passed away June 25, 2025 at the Cleveland Clinic Hospital at Cleveland following a period of declining health.
Born August 17, 1947, in Dover, she was a daughter of the late Jim and Lillian (Davis) Grasselli.
She married Larry Kinsey on June 25, 1965 and began a 60-year journey of love. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and G-Nanny. Family was central to her life and all she did.
She worked as the office manager for Dr. VanEpps for over 20 years. In her free-time she enjoyed running and playing racquetball. As her health declined, she enjoyed reading mysteries and working on puzzles.
Linda is survived by her husband, Edwin Larry Kinsey; daughter, Michelle (Chuck) Grimm of Dover, sons, Eric (Kari) Kinsey of Dover, and Matt (Chona) Kinsey of Dover; grandchildren, Ross Grimm, Scott Kinsey, Kyle (Rosemary) Kinsey, Brooke (John) Schmelzer, Rachel (Brant) Raber, Lauren Kinsey, and Nathan Kinsey; great-grandchildren, Beckett, Adalee, and Britton; brother, Curt Swegheimer; sisters, Jill Watson, and Jane Ledrich; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Linda was preceded in passing by her brother, Terry Swegheimer.
A Celebration of Life for Linda will be held on Tuesday, July 29, 2025 from 5 - 8 PM at Hoodletown Brewing Company, 424 West 3rd Street, Dover, OH 44622.
