Linda Francis Langford was born September 1, 1948 in Temple, OK and departed this life at her home in Randlett, OK on June 19, 2025 at the age of 76 years, 9 months and 18 days.
Linda grew up at Walters and Randlett, graduating from Big Pasture High School in 1967. She married Bobby Dean Josefy and to the union 2 sons were born. They made their home on the creek near Cookietown on Big D Ranch and eventually moved into Randlett when the boys were teenagers. At that time she began working as a cashier at United in Burkburnett and stayed with the company for 20 years.
Linda enjoyed doing oil painting and loved her dog, Novette. She was a cowgirl and enjoyed riding horses on the farm and in rodeos. She loved time spent with her sons and grandkids.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Bressie Lee (Langford) Williams; a brother, Richard; 2 sisters, Marylee and Deloris.
She is survived by her sons, Kris Josefy and Amanda of Wichita Falls, TX, and Chuck Josefy and Rhonda of Randlett, OK; 7 grandchildren, Shelby Sheffield and Kris of Frederick, OK, Alana Josefy of Wichita Falls, Dayton Josefy of Louisiana, Caleb Josefy of Wichita Falls, Brian Josefy of Wichita Falls, Madison Alcaraz and Luis of Wichita Falls, and Kennedy Josefy of Randlett; 1 great grandchild, Astro-Lee Hockett of Lawton; 2 sisters, Jeanette Millard of Granite City, IL and Trisha Landford of Lawton; many other relatives and friends.
