Linda Milbrandt Obituary

Linda Mary Milbrandt, 71, of Salisbury passed away Friday, July 25, 2025 at Kiser Hospice House in Salisbury after fighting cancer. Born in Bristol, Conn. on July 30, 1953, she was the daughter of the late Vera and David Richard Trelli. Linda moved to Salisbury in 1988. In Conn., she worked for OZ Gedney Co. After moving to Salisbury, she worked for the Veterans Administration Hospital. She retired from the VA Hospital after 20 years of service. Her commitment to supporting veterans reflected her caring nature and strong sense of duty. Linda had a passion for gardening that brought beauty into the lives of those around her. She also had a special place in her heart for her two rescue dogs, offering them love and a second chance at life.

Linda was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She was preceded in death by her parents and her devoted husband Dennis Milbrandt. She is survived by her daughter, Tania Agosto; grandson, Jake Agosto; step-daughters, Kim Milbrandt and Tammy Shea of Conn. and Tammy's sons Joey and Nicholas. She is further survived by her brother, Anthony Trelli of Conn.; her sister, Cathy Maxwell Rochelle-Thomas of Florida and numerous nieces and nephews. In accordance with her wishes, Linda bequeathed her remains to Wake Forest University School of Medicine for the medical education of future caregivers and will be cremated. No services will be held at this time.

Her warmth and generosity will be remembered by all who knew her. She had a love of angels and has earned her wings. Memorial contributions may be made to Faithful Friends Animal Sanctuary, in Salisbury, NC, to support their rescue and adoption efforts.
