With heavy hearts we announce the passing of Linda Sue Mollica who peacefully departed July 4th, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. Born on November 25, 1941 in Piketon, Ohio, Linda was the heart and soul of our family and will be deeply missed. Linda devoted her life to her husband, their three children and seven grandchildren. She was a joy to be around, and always made you feel special.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Lewis and Opal Patrick; six brothers and sisters, Mary Lou Days, Darlene Scott, Maureen Gilmore, Diana Kirk, Basil Patrick, and Dan Patrick.
Linda is Survived by her loving husband of 65 years, Joe Mollica; children, Sharyl, John (Wendy), and Tony (Anita); grandchildren, Jonathon (Olivia), Carli (John), Alex, Chris, Nick, Joe and Ben; sister, Norma Bennett; and many nieces and nephews.
Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated at 10:00 am Saturday, July 12, 2025 at St. Andrew Catholic Church, 1899 McCoy Road, Columbus, Ohio 43220 with Burial to follow at Union Cemetery. The family will receive friends at RUTHERFORD-CORBIN FUNERAL HOME, 515 High Street, Worthington, Ohio from 4:00 to 7:00 pm with a Prayer Service at 6:45 pm on Friday, July 11, 2025.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to: American Lung Association at https://action.lung.org.
Though our hearts are heavy, we are forever grateful for the time we shared and memories that will endure.
