Linda Riesdorph Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Aug. 1, 2025.
Linda Lou Riesdorph, passed away on July 12, 2025, in Lake Havasu City, Arizona, at the age of 76. She left behind a legacy of love, care, and community spirit that will ripple through the desert for years to come.

Born in 1948, Linda found her soulmate, Gene Riesdorph, and the two tied the knot in 1969 in North East, Pennsylvania. Their 52-year marriage was a love story for the ages, filled with shared adventures and quiet moments. Though Gene passed before her, their bond remains unbreakable.

Linda was a devoted mother to her son, Benjamin Riesdorph, and a doting grandmother to Kayla Riesdorph, who in turn gifted her with two great-grandchildren, Abigail and Ian.

A proud graduate of Hamot Hospital School of Nursing and Pennsylvania State University, Linda's career as a nurse was more than a job-it was her calling. After moving to Lake Havasu City in 1994, she and Gene ran LaFiesta Leisure Living Center. She took on the role of Director of Nursing at Mohave Community College, shaping the next generation of caregivers with her wisdom and no-nonsense kindness.

Linda was a whirlwind of community involvement, leaving her mark on Lake Havasu.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to Hospice of Havasu. A celebration of her life, sure to be as vibrant as she was, will be announced at a later date. Linda would probably insist you bring your best story and a smile to share.

Here's to Linda Lou Riesdorph-a nurse, a leader, a friend, and a force of nature who made every day a little brighter.
