Link James Rooker, age 5 Mo., of Lancaster, Ohio, passed away suddenly on June 29, 2025.
Link was born January 22, 2025, in Lancaster, Ohio to Wade Rooker and Taylor Rooker. Link was very curious of the world around him. He would always be searching for his dad and listening to music with him on their car rides together. He got so excited for his shower and bath time in his shower chair. He loved going for walks outside and always had a big smile on his face when he saw his siblings. His sister, Leia, was his best friend and all his siblings did their best to play with him with toys during tummy time.
Surviving are his parents, Taylor and Wade Rooker; paternal grandparents, Tom and Melissa Rooker; maternal grandparents, Tina Gothard and Jerry (Shelly) Johnson; great-grandparents, Ray Rooker, Sherrie (John) Daubenmire, and Gene MacEachen; siblings, Liam Sommers, Maybelle Sommers, Stella Sommers, and Leia Rooker; aunts and uncles, Lillian (Will) Jones, Kira (Clayton Lunsford) Rooker, Hope Rooker, Samantha (David) Steel, Weston Johnson, Brooke Johnson, and Tim (Dean) Allemang; great-uncle, Bryan Rooker; and great-aunt, Kate (James) Jackson.
Link was preceded in death by his great-grandparents, Cheryl MacEachen and Ruth Rayner; and great-great-uncle, Paul Rooker.
Funeral services were held at 7:00 PM, Thursday, July 3, 2025, at the Heinlein-Brown Funeral Home in Logan, Ohio.
