Lloyd Rush Pratt, 86, of Hohenwald, passed away on August 4, 2025. He was born on March 2, 1939, in Lansing, Michigan, to the late Robert and June Elaine Pratt. He married his wife, Judy, in 1963, and together they shared a life full of love until her passing. Lloyd served proudly in the U.S. Army and the Tennessee National Guard for 24 years and worked for many years at Dana. A true jack of all trades, he could fix just about anything and never backed down from hard work. He was a good man-steady, kind, and deeply loved. In addition to his parents and his wife, Judy, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Kirt Hanford, Judy Osenbaugh, and Bobbie Taylor. He leaves behind his sons, Lloyd Pratt Jr. of Hohenwald, Tennessee, and Keith Pratt-Caudle (Wayne) of Falkville, Alabama; daughters, Kim York (Tony) and Julie Pratt (Dale Carroll), both of Hohenwald; sister Beatrice Burnham; grandchildren, David, Kellie, and Joshua; great-grandchildren, Lydia, Dayton, Annalissa, Zachary, Sophia, and Addison; great-great-grandchildren, Kingston, Oakley, and one on the way. He is also survived by his special friend, Sharon Dula, along with many beloved friends, neighbors, and extended family. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 9, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. at McDonald Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until the start of the service. Burial with military honors will follow at Lewis County Memorial Gardens. McDonald Funeral Home is honored to be serving the Pratt family.
