Logan Robert Madej, age 24, of Tulsa, OK, passed away after a tragic accident in Muskogee, OK, on Saturday, June 21, 2025. He was born on February 21, 2001, in Cleveland, OH and was the son of Thomas Gerard Madej and Marie Louise (Trautman) Longo. Logan's vibrant spirit and infectious enthusiasm for life left an indelible mark on all who knew him.
Logan's journey through life was one of dedication and service. Logan spent his early childhood in North Royalton, OH, making memories and establishing the foundation for his future aspirations. A graduate of Theodore Roosevelt High School in Kent, OH, he went on to serve his country with honor as a member of the United States Marine Corps, enlisting on September 23, 2019, and receiving an honorable discharge on June 15, 2023. His commitment to excellence continued in his professional life, where he worked as a service technician, earning the respect and admiration of his colleagues.
Logan always enjoyed spending time with his friends and numerous pets, going on vacation to the beach, and playing sports. An avid gamer, Logan found joy in the virtual worlds he explored. His passion for building legos and his love for Marvel were more than hobbies; they were a way for him to connect with his inner child and share his creativity with those around him. On August 25, 2021, Logan married the love of his life, Mallory Dean Massey. On July 31, 2022, their union was blessed with their son Maverick, who was the center of Logan's universe.
Logan is survived by his loving wife, Mallory Madej, and their adored son, Maverick Madej, who was his pride and joy. Logan's legacy is also carried on by his father, Thomas Madej; his mother and stepfather, Marie and Rob Longo; his brother, Nathan Madej, and his fiancée, Ashley Bambauer; his sister, Abby Madej, and her boyfriend, David Schoeppner; and his maternal grandparents, Peggy and Bill Macs. His extended family included his in-laws, Michael and Sandy Massey; his sister-in-law, AAuna Massey, and her husband, Cruz Clark; his sister-in-law, Mack Massey; his sister-in-law, Sydney Pipes; his nephews, Ace Clark, Bayker Clark, and Josiah White; his niece, Oakley White; and his grandparents-in-law, Larry and Sandy Sims. Logan's life was enriched by numerous other relatives and a wide circle of friends who will miss him deeply.
Logan was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Frank and Irene Madej, and his maternal grandfather, Jonathan Trautman. Their guidance and love shaped him into the remarkable man he became.
Logan's life was a testament to the power of love, the strength of family bonds, and the enduring spirit of service. He will be remembered as a hero, not only for his time in the military but for the daily acts of kindness and courage that defined his character. His memory will continue to inspire all who were fortunate enough to have known him.
The community is invited to pay their respects during visitation hours from 4:00 - 8:00 PM on Thursday, July 10, 2025, at Busch Funeral Home, 7501 Ridge Rd., Parma, OH 44129.
A funeral mass to honor Logan's life will be held at 10:00 AM on Friday, July 11, 2025, at Saint Albert the Great Church, 6667 Wallings Rd., North Royalton, OH 44133. The mass will be live streamed and can be viewed by going to the church website and scrolling down the page at https://saint-albert.org/.
Logan will be inurned at Holy Cross Cemetery in Brook Park, OH, at 11:00 AM on Saturday, July 12, 2025.
A memorial service in Oklahoma will take place at 4:00 PM on Saturday, July 19, 2025, at The Venue at Woodbridge Ranch, 12391 S. 225th E. Ave., Broken Arrow, OK 74014.
