Lois Jean Baker passed away peacefully on July 4, 2025, at the age of 78. Born in Illinois and raised in Wisconsin, Lois spent her adult life in Texas, where she lovingly raised her family and built a home filled with warmth, creativity, and kindness.

Lois was known for her compassionate spirit, quiet strength, and unwavering determination. She approached life with grace and resilience, always putting the needs of others before her own. A talented quilter and dedicated scrapbooker, she found joy in creating beautiful, lasting memories for those she loved. Her sewing brought comfort to many, and her attention to detail reflected the care she poured into every stitch.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Bob Baker. Lois is survived by her two children, Matthew Grommesh and his wife Saunders, and LeeAnne Grommesh. She was also a proud and loving "grammy" to many cherished granddogs, who brought her endless joy and companionship.

Lois’s legacy of kindness and quiet strength lives on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
