Lorenzo Williams Obituary

The family of Mr. Lorenzo A. Williams gratefully acknowledges all expressions of sympathy shown during their time of bereavement and loss. May God continue to richly bless each of you.
Mr. Lorenzo A. Williams, age sixty-eight, departed this life and entered into eternal rest Sunday, July 13, 2025 at Duke University Medical Center in Durham, North Carolina. He was born October 30, 1956 in Mt. Vernon, New York to Marie Rogers Williams and the late Garner Williams and made his home in Roxboro, North Carolina.
In addition to his father, he is preceded in death by his wife, Robin Williams; and a brother, Judah (Kirk) Williams.
He leaves to cherish precious memories, two children: Danielle Dibble (Scott) of Sahuarita, Arizona and Jariel Williams (Amy) of Lewisville, Texas; grandchildren: Caleb Sullivan, also of Lewisville, Hayden Dibble and Chase Dibble, both of Sahuarita and Dawson Williams of Lewisville; his mother, Marie Rogers Williams of Roxboro; siblings: Preston Williams of Mt. Vernon, New York, Elton Williams of New Rochelle, New York, Garner Williams (Yvette) of Durham, North Carolina, Steve Williams (Sandra) of Charlotte, North Carolina and Mark Williams, also of Roxboro; and a host of other loving relatives and friends.
The funeral service will be held Thursday, July 17, 2025 at 1:00pm at Cunningham & Associates Funeral Services with the Reverend Nannie Fuller, Associate Pastor at the Greater Cleggs Chapel Community Missionary Baptist Church in Timberlake, providing the eulogy.
The family will receive visitors at the home of his mother, 722 Frank Street in Roxboro, North Carolina 27573.
The family respectfully requests that potted plants or other memorial pieces be considered as keepsakes to honor his memory.
