EULOGY FOR LORRAINE J. COSTA

Our dear wife, mother and sister passed suddenly on July 9, 2025 after succumbing to a severe

medical condition.

Lorraine was the loving wife of Mark G. O'Connor, the devoted and selfless mother of Mark

Joseph O'Connor (Kelly) and John Thomas O'Connor (Amanda), the proud grandmother of her

grandson, JT, and the very caring sister to Rosanne Valuri.

She was a dedicated employee of the New York City law firm (previously known as Fitzpatrick

Cella Harper & Cinto) for over 25 years. During her tenure with that firm, she was the legal

assistant to its founder, Joseph M. Fitzpatrick, and upon his retirement she became the legal

assistant to the firm's Managing Partner, Nicholas M. Cannella.

Lorraine was also a member of the Board of Directors of her residential homeowners

association, having served with distinction on that Board for over 20 years of service to her

neighbors.

She was an excellent homemaker, gardener and cook. She excelled in everything to which she

put her mind, and Lorraine would accept nothing short of perfection in all of her endeavors.

Lorraine will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Lorraine was not only my godmother and cousin, she was a very special friend always there for me. Life will not be the same without her. My heartfelt sympathy and prayers to Mark, M.J., John, Amanda, J.T. and cousin Roseann and the entire O´Connor , Costa and Maiolo families. Let her memory be eternal and may perpetual light shine upon her.
