Lorraine Bernice Hamilton, age 82 of Prestonsburg, Kentucky, passed away on Monday, January 6, 2025 at Cabell Huntington, Huntington, West Virginia. She was born January 28, 1942 in Floyd County, Kentucky to the late Cornelius and Cora Coeburn (Henry) Meadows. She was the wife of the late Scott Hamilton. She was a retired factory worker for American Standard and a member of Staffordsville Freewill Baptist Church. She is survived by her Son: Richard Scott Hamilton of Washington, Pennsylvania; Ex-Daughter-in-law: Elizabeth Hamilton of Prestonsburg, Kentucky; Grandchildren: Hannah (JD) Adams & Halle Grace Hamilton; Great-Grandchildren: Amelia Grace "Millie" Adams & Meadow Lynn Adams; Brothers: Don Stephens of Indiana & Charles Ed Stephens of Floyd County, Kentucky. Along with her parents and husband she was preceded in death by her Brothers: Paul Stephens, William Stephens & Leonard Stephens; Sisters: Jo Goble & Beulah Leckrone. She will be missed by all that knew and loved her.
Visitation will be held Thursday, January 9, 2025 at 6pm at the funeral home and will continue all day Friday, January 10, 2025
Funeral Services will be held Saturday, January 11, 2025 at 1pm at Nelson Frazier Funeral Home, Prestonsburg, Kentucky with Kevin Jett officiating
Burial will follow at Davidson Memorial Gardens, Ivel, Kentucky
