Louis "Little Louie" Anthony Joseph, Jr.
Louie, known to most as Little Louie, died in his home in Seaford, Delaware on Wednesday, December 21, 2022, of natural causes. He was 65. A blessing to his parents, Louie was born (September 30, 1957) and raised in Utica, New York. Little Louie was bigger than life-literally and figuratively-anything but little. He was a big man, with a big voice, a big laugh, a big personality, and mostly, a big heart.
Louie was predeceased by his loving mother, Daisy Lewis Joseph and is survived by his devoted father, Louis A. Joseph, Sr. and siblings Mary (Joseph) Tomaselli, Eva (Robert Wishnoff) Joseph, Anthony (Brenda) Joseph, and Theresa (John) Fitzmaurice; cherished nieces and nephews Daisy (Julian Buffam) Tomaselli and Joseph Tomaselli, Jr., Logan (Sean Hayes) Joseph and Alexandra (Michael McPherson) Joseph, Maggie, John Louis, and Kaleb Fitzmaurice, adored great-niece Colette Buffam, and uncle and aunt, John and Shirley Joseph.
He treasured the love, friendship and time spent with his many cousins and friends.
Louie's life will be celebrated with a Mass at St. Louis of Gonzaga Church, 520 Rutger Street, Utica, New York at 10:00 am on Thursday, January 5, 2023. There are no calling hours. The family will greet friends and family at the conclusion of Mass in the church. Services will be live streamed from the Dimbleby Funeral Homes Facebook page at the time of the service.
It is with great appreciation the family would like to acknowledge Louie's neighbors and friends in Seaford, Delaware for surrounding him with love and care.
Little Louie loved nothing more than sharing a cocktail and a good laugh. In lieu of donations or flowers, if inclined, lift a glass, have a laugh, or just make someone's day with a big smile.
Arrangements are in care of Dimbleby Funeral Homes, Inc., Whitesboro. For memorial tributes and messages of sympathy, please go to www.dimblebyfh.com.

Lou was one of my managers at Rivers Casino, but he quickly became a good friend. We shared many stories together, of which Lou always had on hand. I will never forget when him and I went fishing together on West Canada Creek, or our times together on Shady Lanes. He always looked out for me at the casino, and I believe he will continue to look out for me in life from Heaven. No amount of words can express how great you were. Lou, you are incredible soul, I look forward to reuniting with you someday. Love ya buddy!

Louie and I always had a great time's together, what ever was happening. We were friends back when we would jump in the maverick, hit the muck run for hours and listen to Pink Floyd on the eight track.
But as time past, Louie and I always kept in touch over all the years, even when we were miles apart or just down the street . Little lou you will always be missed by all the people you touched in your life.
But you will never be forgotten by the many people you have met during this life. Good friend may you rest in peace!

Louie was a very special neighbor, friend and became a very special loving member of our family and friend to others in his neighbor hood. He was always kind and had a big heart, and anything he could do to help his neighbors or do for all of us, he would try to make it happen. He was fun, and we had many great times together in his home and other places in the park together. He always had a great smile and a kind loving way of making us feel how much he appreciated our friendship. He is now and for ever will be missed in our heart. Our prayers and condolences. go to the family for healing and strength, love and, peace. God bless Chuck and Thelma

Louis was a relative I knew when I was young but when I moved away, I lost track of him and his family. But through the years I remember Louis and his family as loving, caring, and fun loving. I am sorry for your loss and may Louis Rest in Peace,
