Louise Lea Gang
Born February 9, 1938 to Phillip Lanoie and Rose (Benoit)Lanoie in Goffstown New Hampshire. She was the youngest of 6 children and was raised in Goffstown until she was 15, then the family moved to San Jose, California. While in High School she was a Candy Striper at O'Conner hospital and decided she wanted to become a Registered Nurse. She went to St. Mary's College of Nursing in San Francisco and graduated in 1959 with her RN.
After graduation she moved to Honolulu, Hawaii and was married there on February 13, 1960. Louise raised 5 children, teaching them how important God is and how to be good people. She worked to support her children as a nurse in Convalescent Hospitals (Nursing Homes). She always said she often prayed and said "God if you help me take care of my kids, I'll help take care of your old people." She would bring her children to the different hospitals she worked at to see the elderly people she cared for and to see what she did.
She is survived by her sister Simone Buckley of Sacramento CA, her daughter Theresa (Terry) Cole and David of Hillsboro OR, daughter Deanna Watson and Dan of Turlock CA, son Martin (Duce) Gang and Linda of Ballston Spa NY, son William (Bill) Gang and Annalise of Kirkland WA, and son Thomas (Tom) Gang and Stephanie of San Diego CA, her 16 grandchildren, and 21 great grandchildren.
