Lucy Neil Washington Preston

Funeral service will be held Thursday, March 20, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. at East Jerusalem Missionary Baptist Church. Visitation will be one hour prior to service time. Pastor Russell C. Davis will officiate at the service.
Lucy Neil was born February 23, 1947 to the late Hannah and Ned Davis in Picayune, MS.
She was a member of East Jerusalem Missionary Baptist Church under the spiritual leadership of Pastor Russell C. Davis.
Her fun loving and kind spirit will never be forgotten. One of her greatest joys was helping others in time of need.
On Sunday, March 9, 2025, God sent his loving angel to give her rest from her labor at Highland Community Hospital embraced by her devoted family at the age of 78.
Lucy Neil leaves to cherish her memories, her children, Jeffery Ferguson Washington, Daniel Washington, Lynette Graves, Gennella Washington, Grace (Eddie) Bounds and Charles Washington; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
