Luisito Cobarrubias Rosales, known to many as Chito, peacefully passed away on Thursday, July 3rd, 2025. He was born to the late Manuel Rosales and Felicidad Cobarrubias on January 26, 1951.Chito grew up in Quiapo, Manila Philippines, where he attended school for most of his early years. He worked as a Radio Operator for ships for over 25 years. Because of this, he travelled the world. In September of 1973, he married the love of his life, Delia Rosales. In the early 2000’s, he migrated to the USA. He worked in the field of home improvement and healthcare. He retired in 2019.Chito was a hard working, generous, kind and happy person. After losing his parents, he stepped up as a parent to his siblings, caring for them and their children. He became a second father to many. He had a deep love for music, played the guitar and enjoyed songs from the 60s and 70s, and he was especially fond of The Beatles.He is survived by his children, Chidelle and husband Hector and grandsons Bryan and Jake; Luisito, Jr. and wife Anna Vanessa and grandson Miguel; and Christeen and husband Michael. He was preceded in death by his brother, Manuel Rosales, Jr. and is survived by his two sisters, Teresita Baron and Carmencita Katimbang.
