A time of visitation will be held on Saturday, July 19, 2025, from 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Higgins Funeral Home at Hunter Allen Myhand, followed by a memorial service at 4:00 p.m. in the chapel.
Lyla Rose Addison, born into the arms of Jesus on July 5, 2025, passed peacefully at birth in LaGrange, Georgia. Though her time on earth was brief, she touched the hearts of all who awaited her arrival with love and hope. Lyla's life, though short, left a lasting imprint on the hearts of her family, who take comfort in knowing she is now cradled in the arms of her Savior.
She was the cherished daughter of Jerome Addison and Brianna Nicole Smith of LaGrange, Georgia. In addition to her parents, Lyla is lovingly remembered by her siblings, Lexa Addison, Lincoln Addison, Maggie Smith, Izzy Smith, Charlie Smith, and Parker Addison; her grandparents, Jannet Gore and Sheryl McMichael; along with a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family, and dear friends who will forever carry her memory in their hearts.
The family asks that you keep them in your thoughts and prayers during this time of sorrow, and join them in celebrating the precious life of their baby girl who now lives in Heaven's perfect peace.
