Mabel Campbell Obituary

Mabel Estelle Campbell, 91, passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 13, 2025, surrounded by her family.
Born on October 17, 1933, Mabel was the heart and soul of her family: a devoted wife, a loving mother, a cherished grandmother and great-grandmother, a supportive sister, a caring aunt, and a true friend to many. She was preceded in death by her husband, Louis Campbell, Sr., by her parents, Edward and Glenis (Thomas) Morisette, and her siblings, Edward Morisette, Ilene Schultz, Richard Morisette, and twin baby brothers. She is survived by her children, Louis (Barbara) Campbell, Jr., Laura (Jeff) Milner, her grandchildren, Leah (Mark) Giannotta, Kristin (Corey) Koerber, Phillip (Erica) Schultz, and Mary (John) DeGrandchamp, her great-grandchildren, Mark, Ava, Cameron, Mabel, and Estelle, her brother, James Morisette, Sr., many nieces and nephews, and her beloved dog, Rosie.
Devout in her faith, Mabel was a lifelong parishioner of St. Mary's Queen of Creation Church where she was a member of the Ladies Sodality. She was a proud resident of New Baltimore and a charter member of the Daughters of Macomb.
Mabel was happiest in the presence of her family and friends. She enjoyed baking and cooking, especially her legendary Christmas cookies. Mabel cherished every moment in the kitchen making memories and bringing warmth and joy to family gatherings. Her legacy will live on through the memories shared, the values instilled in us, and the love she gave.
In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to St. Mary Queen of Creation's St. Vincent de Paul.
Visitation for Mabel will from 3:00 - 8:00 p.m. with a Rosary 4 pm on Friday, July 18, 2025 at the Wasik Funeral Home located at 35259-23 Mile Road in New Baltimore.
Mabel will lie in Instate from 9:30 a.m. until a 10:00 a.m. Funeral Mass on Saturday, July 19, 2025 at St. Mary Queen of Creation Church located at 50931 Maria Street in New Baltimore.
