It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Mandip Kaur Singh, 27, on December 21, 2024, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She was born on December 23, 1996, in Plainfield, New Jersey. Mandip grew up in Piscataway, where she brought joy and warmth to everyone she met.
Mandip was a proud graduate of Rutgers University, where she earned her bachelor's degree with a major in Human Resources and a minor in Economics. After graduating, she began her career at Alight Solutions, where she quickly distinguished herself as a dedicated and hardworking professional. Most recently, she served as a Senior HR Specialist for The Segal Group in New York City, earning the respect and admiration of her colleagues for her kindness, diligence, and commitment. During this time, she lived life to the fullest in Jersey City, where she formed new relationships, attended dance classes in the city, and finally learned to cook for herself.
Beyond her professional accomplishments, Mandip had a vibrant and lively spirit that touched every aspect of her life. She had a profound love for dancing, which brought her immense joy and often made her the life of any party. An avid reader, she also enjoyed immersing herself in books, seeking knowledge and stories that inspired her.
Mandip cherished time with her family and found happiness in simple pleasures, like playing cards with her father and video games with her siblings and nephews, especially her favorite, Mario Party. She had a passion for healthy living but also delighted in indulging her sweet tooth. Her family fondly remembers her as someone who always brought light and positivity into their lives.
Mandip is survived by her loving parents, Harjit Singh and Surinder Kaur, and her siblings: Jassu and her husband Justin, Gunnu, Roop, Neelu, and Ginny and his wife, Sonia. She will be deeply missed by her grandmother, Swarn Kaur, her aunt and uncle, Rano and Pinka, and her cherished nephews, Mason and Noah. She is also survived by a host of cousins, extended family members, and countless friends who were touched by her kindness and will carry her memory forever in their hearts.
A viewing will be held on Thursday, December 26, 2024, from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at Punarjanm Funeral Services, located at 752 Mountain Blvd., Watchung, NJ. A funeral service will follow immediately at 10:00 AM. Cremation services will be held privately. After the services, friends and family are invited to join together at the Bridgewater Gurdwara in Basking Ridge to honor Mandip's memory.
