Manuel V. Castilleja, 70, entered eternal rest, June 29, 2025, in Laredo Texas. Mr. Castilleja is preceded in death by his father; Ruperto Castilleja, great uncles; Ysabel Castilleja, Lorenzo Castilleja, and his great aunts who raised him as if he were their own son; Margarita Castilleja, Maria Castilleja, and Trinidad Long.

Manuel is survived by his wife of 29 years, Santos Guerra, daughters; Jessica Lynn Castilleja-Rodriguez and husband Roman, Michele Castilleja, Rachel Rocha, sons; Willie Castilleja and fiancé Laura Allison Zaffirini, Thanis Partida, Miguel Guerra, Brijido Guerra, great uncle; Alberto Castilleja, great aunt who raised him as if he were their own son; Manuela Castilleja, grandchildren; Darren Lane Rodriguez, Deven Michael Rodriguez, Gaven Sean Rodriguez, Jason Alexander Barrera, Juanita Margarita Mata, Cristobal Mata Jr., Angela Rocha, Lyliana Rocha, Carlos Rocha, Enzo Rocha, Martha Klarissa Partida, Jeremy Joe Partida, Miguel Angel Guerra, Melanie Marie Guerra, Marc Angel Renteria, Damian Guerra, Brianna Guerra, Michael Guerra, Alyssa Guerra, Marisa Guerra, Adrian Guerra, and Salice Guerra, great grandchildren; Mateo Jesus Rodriguez and Anayeli Gonzalez.

The Castilleja family will honor their loved one on Wednesday, July 23, 2025, at Leonard Funeral Home from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm. A rosary will begin at 7:00 pm.
