It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Manuel Lozano Muñoz, who left us on January 10, 2025, at the age of 83 in the comfort of his own home. Born on June 5, 1941, Manuel was a devoted father, brother, and friend who dedicated his life to hard work and caring for his family.
A man of many talents, Manuel was known for his craftsmanship in masonry, often working alongside his sons. He also served as a butcher at Riverside Market in Boerne, Texas, where he worked with his brothers, and later as a ranch hand for Buddy and Dolly Rose in
Comfort, Texas. Throughout his life, Manuel took pride in his work, always putting in the effort to provide for his loved ones.
Manuel leaves behind a legacy of love and strength through his children: Filemon and Maria Lozano, Florentino Lozano, Matilde Martinez, Cecilia and Ismael Toca, Melin and Gabriella Lozano, and Nidia Godínez and her husband Daniel Godínez. He also leaves behind cherished siblings: Rodrigo Lozano, Pedro Lozano, Carmela Lozano, Francisco Lozano, and María Elena Lozano. Not to mention his 21 grandchildren and 35 great grandchildren. Manuel will be deeply missed by his extended family and friends, who remember him for his generosity, strong work ethic, and unwavering support.
A life well-lived, Manuel's memory will remain in the hearts of all who knew him. His legacy will continue through his children and the countless lives he touched over the years.
He is preceded in death by his wife Manuela and son Ruben.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Monday January 13th at 1:00 p.m. in Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Fr. Rudy officiating. A Rosary will be said on Monday January 13th at 12:15 p.m. in Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
Graveside services and interment will follow in San Jose Cemetery.

Visitation for Manuel Lozano will be held on Monday January 13th from 11:00 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. in Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
The family invites all who knew Manuel to join in honoring his memory.
