Marcia Louise Buckalew, a beloved wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully with family on July 22, 2025, in Tooele, UT. Born on July 10, 1949, Marcia lived a life rich with adventure and a deep commitment to her loved ones and community. Marcia's professional life was a testament to her adventurous spirit. She embraced a variety of occupational endeavors that allowed her to travel and explore her passions, Throughout her diverse careers, Marcia consistently emerged as a natural leader, guiding others with wisdom and integrity, culminating in many successful professions. Her hands were rarely idle, finding joy and purpose in many pursuits. Marcia was renowned for her delicious cooking and was a Master Gardener, nurturing both in her kitchen and her outdoor spaces. The outdoors called to her, and she cherished time spent in nature. She was also incredibly creative, finding satisfaction in crafting, sewing, and even embracing the unique skill of welding. Marcia loved her family, doting on her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren with immense joy. Throughout her journeys and daily life, Marcia approached each day with a present and mindful spirit, never dwelling on the past but instead embracing what was before her. She was a fiercely devoted supporter of her family, always there to champion their endeavors. Marcia is survived by her loving husband, Mont Buckalew; her mother, Louise McClary; her sons, Chris, Mike, and Cody; her daughters, Marci, and Michelle: her four brothers, Jack, Shawn, Mike, and Kevin. She leaves behind sixteen grandchildren and six great-grandchildren, who will deeply miss their grandmother's warmth and affection. With heavy hearts but grateful spirits, we invite you to honor and remember the remarkable life of Marcia Louise Buckalew. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, July 26th at 791 South Coleman, Tooele, Utah, with an OPEN HOUSE from 4:00PM-8:00PM. Please come and share your favorite memories and stories of Marcia as we honor a life beautifully lived, full of adventure, and unwavering love for her family and friends.
