Margarita Cardenas Obituary
Margarita loved quilting and tending to her flowers in the garden. She dedicated her life caring for her husband, their seven children and grand and great grandchildren which spanned over six decades. In her youth she enjoyed taking and developing her own pictures, in fact, any and all arts and crafts brought her joy.
She is survived by her husband, Robert Cardenas; seven children son Robert Cardenas Jr. and son Julius C. Cardenas; daughter Graciela Madrigal, and husband Juan Madrigal; daughter Michelle Cardenas: son Steven Cardenas; daughter Linda Brumley and her husband Richard Brumley; and son David Cardenas.
Margarita was one of 13 children; sister Guadalupe Solis (deceased), sister Estella Carrico; sister Vicenta Perez; sister Maria Angelica; brother Geronimo Bazan (deceased); sister Rebecca Sanchez; brother Roman Bazan (deseased); brother Eliberto Bazan; brother Joseph Anthony Bazan (deseased; sister San Juanita Gomez (deseased); sister Adriana Perez; and brother Eliazar Bazan.
Margarita is survived by 13 grandchildren; granddaughters Megan Pitt and Taryn Cardenas-Pitt; granddaughter Rachel (Cantu) Merkt and husband Christopher Merkt; grandson Peter E. Cantu and wife Krista (Fisher) Cantu; granddaughter Danielle Cantu; granddaughter Sherron Yang-Asher; granddaughter Cameron Cardenas; granddaughter Andria Davis and husband Jack Davis, Erin Brumley, and grandson Eryk Brumley; grandson Trey Cardenas and wife Page Cardenas, grandson Hunter Rouse and granddaughter Lexi Rouse.
Margarita was blessed with 12 great grandchildren; Kevin P. Ayala, Colton J Irby, Micaela Medina, Leilani Kunewa, Madisyn Medina, Kevin P. Ayala, Keilana Kunewa, Sebastian Medina, Malu Kunewa, Bianca Cantu, and Serenity Cantu; Renee Brumley and Dalan Cardenas.
A celebration of Magé's Life will be conducted at 11:00 am on Wednesday January 22, 2025 at 531 S. 16th St. Sunnyside, WA 98944. Flowers will be accepted and contributions will be accepted on through Cash App – https://cash.app/$maddgracy or Venmo
