 A Reflection Of Margie's Life 

" I have fought a good fight; I have finished my course. I have kept the faith. Henceforth, there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord the righteous judge shall give to me on that day; and not to me only, but unto all of them also that love his appearing." 2 TIMOTHY 4: 7-8 

Margie Mae Keaton Hall, 84, was born on March 18, 1941, in Hamilton, MS, to James H. and Everlean Nichels Keaton.  She departed this life on Friday, February 20, 2026, at the North Mississippi Medical Center ~ Gilmore in Amory, MS.  She confessed her faith in Christ at an early age and joined the Mount Zion Missionary Baptist Church.  In November 1960, she married the love of her life, David E. Hall, and to this union, 6 Sons were born.

Margie was a hard-working woman, a devoted wife, mother, aunt, cousin, and friend.  She had a kind, nurturing spirit that was also bold and unwavering.  When it came to doing something, she set her mind to it, and she did it wholeheartedly.  She worked at Kerr-McGee (TRONOX) for a time and also sold Mary Kay products.  Margie also loved working in her yard.  She was an unwavering source of support, love, and encouragement for a lot of people.  She will be deeply missed but never forgotten.

Margie was preceded in death by her parents, James H. and Everlean Keaton; a son, Donnie Lynn Keaton; and a granddaughter, Tameeka Keaton.

Margie leaves to cherish her memories, her husband of 65 years, David E. Hall of Hamilton, MS. (5) sons: Johnnie Earl (Barbara) Keaton of Norfolk, Virginia, David A. (Gail) Hall and Kerry Hall, both of Hamilton, MS, James R. Hall of Aberdeen, MS, and Roger D. (Shalynn) Hall of Terrell, Texas; One brother, James Keaton, Jr. of Gilbert, Arizona. Two sisters, Annie Pearl Keaton and Dorothy Sue Smith, both of Hamilton, MS., one brother-in-law, James L. Hall of Champaign, Illinois; Three sisters-in-law, Nettie Howell and Lola Cockrell, both of Champaign, Illinois, and Georgia L. Barnes of Compton, California.  She was also the proud Granny of 3 granddaughters, 6 grandsons, and 5 great-grandchildren.  She leaves a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and dear friends who loved her. 

In recognizing the impact of her life, a visitation is scheduled for Saturday, February 28, 2026, starting at 4:00 PM - 5:00 PM (FAMILY) and 5:00 PM - 6:00 PM (PUBLIC) at Belle Memorial Funeral Home, located at 216 Hwy 25 South, PO Box 129 in Aberdeen, Mississippi. A Celebration of Life will be held the following day, Sunday, March 1, 2026, beginning at 1:00 PM at Valley Chapel United Methodist Church, located at 40031 Fields Drive in Hamilton, Mississippi.

Margie Mae Hall will be remembered for her unwavering spirit, dedication to her family, and the warmth she brought into the lives of those around her. Her legacy will live on in the hearts of those who loved her.
