Marguerite Sardonia, age 87, of Gainesville, GA passed away peacefully on July 4, 2025 at Northeast Georgia Regional Hospital.
Marguerite was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who enjoyed spending time with her family along with cooking homemade pasta and sauce and baking her famous Christmas cookies.
Marguerite was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald J. Sardonia (USAF), sons Mark Sardonia and Scott Sardonia, and parents Clifford and Rose Snell. She is survived by daughters, Laura Marshall (Carlos) and Rosemarie Jones, sons Jim Sardonia (Katherine) and Dan Sardonia (Melissa), daughter-in-laws, Melanie Sardonia and Karen Sardonia, and brother, Ralph Snell (Susan), ten grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
She was a blessing to her family and will be greatly missed.
Visitation will be held at 2PM with funeral services immediately following at 3PM on July 12, 2025 at the McDonald and Son funeral home located in Cumming, GA. She will be interred with her husband at Arlington National Cemetery at a later date.
Arrangements are in the care of McDonald and Son Funeral Home.
