Maria de Jesus Luna, 75, beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend, passed away at her Valley Regional Medical Center, on January 25, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on December 25, 1949, in Mexico.
Maria is preceded in death by her parents Blas and Wenseslada Aleman; brothers Jose Aleman, Marcos Aleman; her sister Maria Aleman; and her husband Manuel Luna.
She is survived by her children Cecilia (Luis) Sanchez, Ernesto Manuel Luna; grandchildren Isabel Sanchez, Luis Alejandro Sanchez, Amanda Luna; siblings Evodio Aleman, Mercedes Mendoza, Jesusa Aleman; and several nieces, nephews, and other relatives
Visitation will be held from 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 29, 2025, with a prayer service at 6:00 p.m., at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home. The chapel opens at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 30, 2025, with a chapel service at 2:00 p.m. and burial to follow at 3:00 p.m. at Rose Lawn Memorial Gardens.
