Mrs. Aguilar was born August 26, 1932 in San Angelo, Texas to Alejandra (Gamez) and Francisco Valadez. She married Liborio Aguilar in Lubbock, Texas on June 30, 1946. She was a member of St. Paul's Catholic Church and a member of the Guadalupanas since 1958. She and the other ladies made and sold things like tamales and other handcrafted items to buy the land and build what is now St. Paul's Catholic Church in Seagraves. She was a hard-working and brilliant homemaker who made sure to cook for anyone who came to her home. Victoria was a wonderful wife, mom, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend, and her family came first. Victoria enjoyed crocheting, crafting, and taking care of her garden, collecting baby dolls, and finding unique rocks with her beloved pets, Bruno and Skittles.

Victoria Aguilar passed away at her home in Seagraves on Tuesday, July 22, 2025. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Liborio, one daughter, two brothers, one sister, and one great-grandson. She is survived by one son, Arthur Aguilar and wife Teri of Lubbock, Texas; two daughters, Lydia Aguilar and Mary Lou Blanco and husband Joel, both of Seagraves; six grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
