Marian "Candy" Frances Martin, 75, of Jackson, passed away Tuesday, June 24, 2025, at her home.
She was born on June 15, 1950, in Santa Rosa, California, daughter of William Benard and Margaret Louise Daugherty McCormick. She and Gerald Joe Martin were married on August 28, 1999. They were married nearly 19 years when he passed away on July 10, 2018.
Marian was a 1968 graduate of Woodland High School. She worked as a material handler for Rubbermaid. Marian was a member of Harmony Congregational Methodist Church. She enjoyed playing guitar, photography and creating art from driftwood.
Loving survivors include her significant other, Frank Brown and daughter, Amber Brown of Jackson; a son, Thomas Chirstopher Revell of Jackson; siblings, Margaret (Don) McClard of Jackson, Darlene (Bill) Revell of Sedgewickville, Bill (Theresa) McCormick of Grassy and Dee (John) McCutcheon of Patton; half siblings, Diane Stover, John Abasto, and Jeanie Rios-Cruz; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; a sister, Judy Dodd.
The Rev. Darrell Shrum conducted a graveside service at 10 a.m. on Friday, June 27, 2025, at the Lessley Ridge Cemetery in Marble Hill.
McCombs Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Jackson is in charge of arrangements.
The family suggests that contributions be made to St. Louis Iron Mountain Railroad or Lessley Ridge Cemetery.
