Marian Edith (Judd) Tatom, the daughter of Grover and Marie (Statler) Judd was born July 28, 1933, in Salem, Missouri. In her early adult years, she relocated to St. Louis, Missouri for work. It was in St. Louis that she met the love of her life James V. Tatom.
On December 19, 1953, Marian and James were united in marriage, sharing fifty years of marriage, raising a family, and creating lasting memories. They were blessed with four children: Sue, Linda, Craig, and Lisa.
Marian worked at the Salem Memorial District Hospital as a ward clerk for many years until relocating to Florida. She returned to Salem in 2021 after a short stay in Joplin, Missouri. Her hobbies include reading, social media, bingo, and visiting the casinos.
Her family, faith, and friends were most important to her. She cherished spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She loved the fellowship at Salem First Baptist Church and was very involved for a time at Gladden Baptist Church.
Marian entered into eternal rest July 7, 2025, in Salem, Missouri, at the age ninety-one years. She is survived by her loving children: Sue Gash and husband Jim of Salem, MO, Linda Snell of Salem, MO, Craig Tatom and wife Wanda of Salem, MO, and Lisa Tatom of Mansfield, TX; grandchildren: Wesley Tatom, Cordell Tatom, Brenna Simpson, Justin Ward, and Lukas Martin; great-grandchildren: Jameson and Josie Ward and Skyle Tatom; extended family and dear friends.
Preceding her in death were her husband of fifty years: James Tatom and parents: Grover and Marie Judd.
