Maribeth Jane Cook, 72, North Manchester, passed away on July 4, 2025, in North Manchester, Indiana. Born on June 26, 1953, in Wabash, to Morris Earl and Evelyn Lucile (Coning) Cook, Maribeth lived a life marked by compassion, service, and a steadfast faith.

Maribeth graduated from Manchester High School in 1971 and pursued further education at Ivy Tech, where she became a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). Her nursing career spanned several years, during which she worked diligently in Home Healthcare and various retirement communities. Among her many contributions, she devoted five years to Home Healthcare in Lakeland, Florida, and an additional year in Fort Myers, Florida. Maribeth retired from her fulfilling career in 2009.

A woman of deep faith, Maribeth was baptized into the Old German Baptist Brethren Church on April 1, 1973. She was committed to the Lord and remained a faithful member until her passing.

The loving memory of Maribeth will be forever cherished by her brothers, Philip (Irene) Cook, Athens, Wisconsin and Stuart (Catharine) Cook, North Manchester; sister, Sylvia (Stephen) Callaway, North Manchester; and several nieces and nephews. Maribeth was preceded in death by her parents; sister-in-law, Betty Cook; and nephew, Mark Cook.

Family and friends may call Tuesday, July 8, 2025 from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at McKee Mortuary 1401 State Road 114 West, North Manchester. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, July 9, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. at the Old German Baptist Brethren Church, 12508 North State Road 13, North Manchester, with the Home Brethren officiating. Burial will be held at the Old German Baptist Brethren Cemetery.

The family of Maribeth Jane Cook has entrusted McKee Mortuary with care and final arrangements.
