Marie Hart was born on August 1, 1948, to William and Marie (Roeser) Hart in Ritzville, Washington. The family later moved to Paynesville, where she attended a country school before continuing her education at Paynesville High School.

On March 12, 1966, Marie married the love of her life, Jim Schwarz, at St. Louis Catholic Church in Paynesville. Together, they were blessed with three children: Theresa, Laura, and Michael. Shortly after their wedding, they made their home in New London.

Throughout her working years, Marie held various positions, including at Toro, Big Store, and Glen Oaks, where she helped in activities. However, her most cherished role was being a devoted mother to her children. She and Jim were faithful members of St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church in Belgrade, where Marie was deeply involved in her faith and an active member of Christian Mothers.

Marie found joy in many things-gardening, fishing, camping, reading, bowling, growing flowers, cooking, baking, and traveling with Jim.

She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Marie is survived by her husband, Jim; children: Theresa Arnett and her son Mitch (Rachel) Hardsaw; Laura (Dale Williams) Schwarz and her daughter Erica (fiancé, Todd Manouphath) Overlie, along with their sons, Flint Rivord and Felix Manouphath; and Michael (Jessica) Schwarz and their children, Lily and Skyler.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Marie, and her brother, Michael Hart.
