Marie Shubilla Obituary
Marie was a devoted parishioner of St. Cecilia Church in Rockaway where she dedicated countless hours of volunteer work in many areas. Not only was she the rock of the family and was greatly involved with her grandchildren, but was beyond proud to become a great grandmother in her lifetime.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Bernard Shubilla; and two beloved daughters, Dorothy Zanotti and Veronica Morgante.
She is survived by two sons: Bernard Shubilla and Matthew Shubilla; and five grandchildren: Amanda Marie Zanotti, Stephen Morgante, Andrew Morgante, Olivia Shubilla, and Claire Little (Mark); and one great grandchild: Myles.
Visiting hours will be held on Friday, August 2, 2024 from 4:00 - 6:00PM at the Whitham-Kanapaux Funeral Home, 20 Keller Ave, Rockaway, NJ 07866. A Liturgy of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, August 3, 2024, at 10:00 AM at St. Cecilia Church. Interment will follow at Locust Hill Cemetery in Dover.
