Marilyn Rose Jaramillo Chavez passed away in Albuquerque on May 30, 2025, she was 71 years of age. Marilyn was born in Gallup, New Mexico on March 30, 1954. Marilyn was a long time Cubero, New Mexico resident. Having been a lifelong CNA, working at Laguna Rainbow Nursing center. She was a believer in natural healing and loved using essential oils. She was a devoted Dallas Cowboy's fan. She is survived by her husband, David F. Chavez. Her children; Joseph Jaramillo, Patrick Luna, Duane Chavez, Julian Chavez, Gene Anthony Chavez, and Vicente Luna. 18 grandchildren, and 7 great-grandchildren. Her sisters; Helen Jaramillo Bell, and Diane Jaramillo Benevidez. Along with numerous nephews and nieces. She was preceded in death by her parents, Eddie and Mollie Jaramillo. Sons; Nick Luna, and Michael Troy Chavez. Her siblings; Dorothy Jaramillo, Stella Castillo, and Eddie Jaramillo. On Friday June 27, 2025, at 10:00 AM a Memorial Service will be held at The Way the Truth and the Life Church, Pastor Danny Almanza will officiate. Her cremated remains will be interred at a later date. Cope Memorial Chapel of Gallup is entrusted with arrangements.
