Marilyn Marie (White) Kimble
Horseheads, NY
Passed away peacefully on July 1, 2025 at the age of 86. She was the daughter of the late Ellsworth and Pauline White of Troupsburg, NY.
Marilyn was born January 16, 1939 in Knoxville, PA. Soon after she moved to Troupsburg, NY where she lived until marrying the love of her life, Donald L. Kimble, on May 16, 1958. They had four children and 24 years of adventures in the US Navy, moving a dozen times, then settled back in the northeast for the second half of their lives together. Donnie predeceased her in 2023; shortly after they celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary.
Marilyn leaves behind two sons, Brad (Loreen) Kimble and Craig (Joy) Kimble; two daughters, Gail Kimble and Kris (Lee) Ivers; 10 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, 2 brothers, Eldon (Denise) White and Gerald (Margie) White, and many in-laws, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother, Carl Robert White.
Marilyn enjoyed many things in life and was surrounded by family and good friends. She loved music, traveling, square dancing, teaching a Bone Builders exercise class, cooking, and geocaching. Most of all she loved being a wife, mother and grandmother. She will be deeply missed by all those who knew her. Your thoughts and prayers are welcome at this time but it was Marilyn's wishes that funeral services be held privately. The family invites you to gather at Tanino Ristorante in Horseheads, NY on Saturday, July 26, 2025 at 1PM to celebrate her life.
